Artist Statement Frank has been drawing and painting seriously since aged 10. When in high school in Rosemead,Ca. he was awarded scholarship for study in life drawing at Chinauard's Art Institute in Los Angeles. While attending BYU he continued fine art studies with J. Roman Andrus. After service in the US Army he lived for many years in New York City (as he says), bouncing back and forth between preforming in the theatre and studying fine art. "I'm more than happy that fine art won out!" since that time he has worked hard to become proficient in most media. He resides now, among the elk, deer, chipmonks and bears of south eastern Utah. Frank has works in private collections in Colorado,Utah, California, Wyoming, Oregon, Louisiana, New York, Australia, England, and other countries.
