Artist Statement I was born in Hawaii and have been a Beach Boy in Waikiki for over 38 years. I was basically self-taught... and always loved art and visiting shows and Photo galleries throughout Hawaii and the United States. Watercolor is like airbrushing in some ways to me. I have fun with it and create my own personal and spiritual view of the mystery. I have always been fascinated with nature and the way sceneries change from sunrise to sunsets and have taken many photographs. I like to capture a moment in time, places with "Mana" (Supernatual or Spritual) like Waikiki and Diamond Head to name a few in these beautiful Hawaiian Islands. My love for my culture and all it's beauty inspires me to do watercolors of the past and let them speak for themselves.

I am also fascinated with Akua (Gods) creation and the mystical aspects of the Kupuna (Ancestors) who guide and Native Hawaiians in a modern world. It is very challenging but worth every minute to keep trying your best. My motto is to never give up your dreams. I truly believe sooner or later they will come true. You just have to keep on trying...
