Artist Statement At age eight, I won my first ribbon for my art work. I thought, "Wow, I could be an artist."

Through the years I studied drawing at U.C.L.A., received art instruction from many fine art instructors through the years. I learn to practice my art in many forms which included ceramics, paper scuplting, calligraphy, drawing and painting. Later on in years I discovered my true love in art: oil painting.

My joy is in painting almost every subject. No limits. I just enjoy painting. I find peace and purpose in picking up my paint brushes and throwing myself into my art projects.

Most of all, I love when other people enjoy my work. That is the ultimate.
