Artist Statement Born and raised in Bozeman, 6th generation in the valley. Proud of my heritage of Farmers, Ranchers, Laborers, Workers, Strong Women, Bootleggers, Heretics and People who spoke their minds and loved this place as much as I do. That being said, you will find very few wildlife and landscapes here. I find them trite I'll avoid the Vemödalen Thank You. My tastes have always been a bit on the dreamlike surreal/Dadaist side. I look closely and see the light play on the ordinary taken out of context, the interaction of shadow, light and color All the unintentionally implied sexual symbolism and visual humor around us.
