Artist Statement Nineteen sixty-three was the beginning of my venture into the world of graphic communications, and it concluded with my retirement in two thousand and ten. During that time frame I worked in numerous aspects of production for the graphic communication trade with the exception of graphic design. For the last twenty-six years of my graphics career I was the Director of a fully equipped in-plant printing and graphics department for an institution of higher education with a full staff which included four graphic designers. It was during those years and exposure to the graphic designers on my staff that I realize a strong artistic desire.

It wasn’t until my retirement that I explored this artistic side of my personality and suddenly found myself immersed in creating abstract graphics. Please take a moment to view the following artistic images and share your thoughts with me at >alpaynepgs30@gmail.com<.
