Artist Statement Primarily self taught, Susie was originally trained as a business entrepreneur with emphasis in finance and accounting. . During her successful career in the world of business, she developed an obsession for expressing her feelings through art in the last 15 years.

Working primarily with oil in her paintings, she has been trying to express her impressions and emotions through the subjects. Her collection comprises of mainly human subjects and animals and is shaped by her passion for the energy and vitality of their movements.
