Artist Statement I am a self-taught artist. My learning process has been mostly experimental with me just giving it a go at home or taking classes sprinkled in here and there. I'm a big fan of getting books out of the library to enhance my knowledge and I also like to learn from artist's magazines, youtubes and hanging out with other artists. I love watercolor for the transparency and the freedom I'm finding in the balance between control and letting go. I feel committed to this medium until I feel totally done with it. For me, that means mastery. I have a long way to go. I hope you enjoy my paintings and you will come back often to see how I am growing!
