Artist Statement Hello my name is Juan Moreno. Prints are from Original Works of Art, by me MORENO THE ARTIST.

I paint in Oils. Subject matter for now is close up of faces. I was inspired by a close up of the Mona Lisa’s face. I use different techniques on these paintings like crosshatching, pointillism, dripping paint, metallic gold paint, and dramatic colors that vibrate. My art influences are Russian Icons, Stained glass windows, Pointillism, Neoclassical, Symbolism, Realism, and Surrealism. I like my art to be colorful, expressive, and convey emotion.
