These photographs are of polyresin castings that were made by hand, they were not digitally produced. Hyatt and his photographic and marketing team address this work to the viewer involved in the personal adventure of acquainting themselves with the provocative characteristics of color and composition.
Robert Hyatt was born in Denver, Colorado, obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, and attended graduate studies in the fine arts at the University of Colorado. He has exhibited his work in 15 galleries around the U.S. and Japan, including the Denver Art Museum, and was awarded a sculpture commission for a work in polyresins at the Craig Rehabilitation Hospital in Denver.
Over the course of his fine arts career, Hyatt has worked in various mediums, focusing for over 15 years on casting and the fabrication of polyresins. His work contrasts translucent and opaque colors within abstract, expressionistic compositions.
