Artist Statement I began my commercial career life as a Fashion Illustrator. Advanced my graphics art/illustration career by trying every avenue known to artkind. Owned my own advertising/marketing studio/agency, wore all the hats an owner has to wear to make things work... learned a LOT! Then along came the computer and its public expression, the internet. Learned even MORE! I am currently involved in developing websites for clients (and self promotion sites, as well), along with any hard copy work these clients require. Though still a commercial-minded artist, I am now at a point in my life where I've opened a new channel for my talents. I've worked in oils and other mediums in the past and enjoy almost everything, but the most fun for me is line art and pastels. Except for doing some pastel portraits years ago, I am new to the medium. I find pastels especially flexible. But line art satisfies my inner detail monster. I love working!
