Laura Freeman Member Since September 2010 Artist Statement Laura began her career illustrating for various editorial clients, some of which include: The New York Times Book Review, The National Law Journal and New York Magazine. There was a long stint as a computer artist in the men’s design department of Polo/Ralph Lauren, where she picked up the computer skills to make the transition from traditional media to working digitally in Painter and PhotoShop.
These days she seems to have found her niche and it’s almost all children’s books and educational publishing material. She is represented by Bernadette Szost at PortfolioSolutions. (http://portfoliosolutionsllc.com)
