Johnny Cash was arrested in October 1965 when U.S. Customs agents found hundreds of pep pills and tranquilizers in his luggage. The Man in Black--who was returning by plane from a trip to Juarez, Mexico--spent a night in the El Paso jail, and later pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor count. Cash paid a $1000 fine and received a 30-day suspended sentence... remastered and enhanced (in an 'on purpose' cheesy way), while remaining gritty and striking... sometimes off-putting, but always compelling.Don't see your favorite artist / actor / celebrity? Welcome. Here you'll find some of my “fine art” pieces: stuff that seeks to comment on pop culture, celebrity, nostalgia and the current melees' of information received through technology. As a syndicated, daily-newspaper cartoonist, some of my work expresses my joy and love of comic art and my frustration at remaining a relevant pop artist in a progressively ailing industry. I achieve these goals by using a combination of, humor, iconology, parody, association and dichotomy — fused and juxtaposed to create high quality drivel.
