Artist Statement Noël de Christián’s eye for composition and use of color are the hallmark of his photography. His images transport the viewer to the places depicted in the photographs and invite the viewer in. His composition style leads the viewer’s eyes into the frame while exploring the depth of the subject. Noël’s photography also tends to be organic as he captures the beauty of the world that surrounds us. Images are not heavily manipulated on the computer. Colors are true to nature but still allow his vision to shine through while maintaining a realistic, contemporary feel to his photography. The vision is simple and that is to capture what is beautiful and record it for others to enjoy. The inspiration can be man-made such as skylines, piers or towns or natural, such as streams, beaches or forests. Noël’s style of photography is a declaration of balance and beauty with a streak of depth and passion. This style, combined with modern printing materials, transforms photography into art. Bold statements of color, serenity and grace are infused into every image and are a reflection of the artist himself.
