Artist Statement I am Greg Harvey, a successful full-time manager of chronic lumbar pain. Following my surgeries and throughout my recovery and therapy, I began creating pen and ink Art using colored Sharpie markers. I later incorporated digital manipulation and am now creating 3D video clips from my scanned art work.

I find it to be an excellent pain distraction, causing my mind to put it's focus on beauty and fun rather than constantly alerting me of my imperfect spine.

To me, it's all about expressing my soul, whether to show what I am feeling or to make a positive change toward decreasing ever-present discomfort.
