Artist Statement I am a freelance photographer, currently living in Albuquerque, NM. I have operated my own photography business, Desert Penguin Photos, since 2000. I have done a variety of photography from landscapes and weddings to artistic.

I am a freelance press correspondent for the American International News Service (AINS).

I am a member of the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP), member #21297 and have been since 2005.

Some of the awards and distinctions that I have received:

* Master Photographer Regnant (M.P.R.) - September 2004; Honorary Degree of Excellence, Awarded by the International Freelance Photographers Organization

*Lifetime Distinction - December 2003; Lifetime Distinction of Honour for Photographic Achievement, Awarded by American Image Press and the International Freelance Photographers Organization

*Lifetime Achievement - October 2003; Achievement in the Art and Science of Photography, Awarded by the International Freelance Photographers Organization
