Description I was inspired to create this portrait of a lion after watching the movie 'Narnia' with my family.I've always had a great admiration and respect for the big cats. Of all the great cats, the lion has always held a supreme place in man's esteem and imagination.
Scott Tillett, Virginia Member Since January 2007 Artist Statement It seems as though art started for me before I was able to walk. It has always been a constant in my life in one form or another. I remember when I was young looking at all the great artwork I would see in books thinking "one day I'll be able to do that". I think I've achieved that dream in one form or another. I primarily work in colored pencil, Prismacolor being my favorite. From time to time, I will branch out into other mediums such as watercolor and pastels, but I always find my way back to the pencils. I've been working in the art field professionally since 1993. I started as a mural artist and then branched out as a graphic artist. Fine art has always been my first love. That is why this site is dedicated to just that, my fine art.
