Description Image inspired by a winged scarab design from the temple of Horus at Edfu, Egypt. The scarab, Khepre, was associated with the appearance of the Sun each morning. Kheper in the ancient Egyptian language related to birth and becoming and as such was a iconographic emblem for the travels of the Sun, Ra, through the underworld at night and the need to assist in successfully lifting Ra up at dawn to continue his journey through the sky.
