Artist Statement Janisse Lahti Larsson has been an artist for over 30 years. Her vast experience allows her to easily integrate into any project, be it residential or commercial, and bring her unique flair and talent to the project without ignoring the hopes and dreams of her clients. Janisse’s career as an artist began with an education at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and continued with training at the University of Uppsala in Sweden. She has traveled all over Europe and the United States and has extensive knowledge of art history, design and aesthetics. Janisse is able to easily recreate subjects of all kinds from abstract and modern, to traditional and contemporary. She is comfortable with all mediums, surfaces and work environments. She is most happy when able to take the reins and run with things, being trusted to produce a product that will exceed expectations. However, she is able to work with any and all requests and always produces a masterpiece wherever she goes. Throughout the years, every unique home Janisse has ever lived in has been featured in one publication or another including, but not limited to, Metropolitan Home and Better Homes and Gardens. Besides mural work and trompe l’oeil she enjoys utilizing her color consulting and design experience to help bring the same beauty and unique atmosphere her homes have had to your home, restaurant or establishment.
