Artist Statement Duckie brings you the world of wild bird nature through her life and paintbrush. Grackle began following Duckie’s world in 1986. Duckie even drew Grackle into creating Primitive Pottery, emulating techniques from ancient and far-away lands. Duckie, a “child of the vines” was highly tuned to small town life, to nature and to creating wonderful and original things. With that early Pottery, the couple began sharing some kind of ‘spark’ that seemed larger than the two of them.
In a Small Town, it’s easier to have Nature, Creativity and Friends. The nearby
