Description I dont know about you, but I am definitely weary of sheltering in place. Like many, I have been on an emotional rollercoaster for the last few months. I cant wait to reunite with family, go on a date night with my husband and share a leisurely lunch with girlfriends. And hugs! I think I miss them most of all. This new painting, Leaping into the Open reflects my anticipation of freedom from the COVID virus. Feelings of jubilation and uninhibited movement were part of the design. I had seen a similar image in a magazine a while ago and was struck by a sense of elation. It inspired me to create one of my own. As our communities slowly open and we take tentative steps toward normalcy, I hope that you will find moments of time to find your joy. Perhaps this painting will inspire that.
