Description Last year I went out to shoot some lilies in my garden before they all died and noticed a bee in one flower working very slowly and deliberately. He was skinnier than the usual bees pollenating in the garden. So I decided to take some shots of him. Eventually he crawled out onto the end of a stamen and fell off into the Pachysandra never to be seen again...Here he is, the last shot. You can see he has let go with his front legs and is beginning to tumble. He reminded me of an old farmer who, at the end of his days, hitched the horse to his plow, went out into the fields to die as he lived.
