Artist Statement For the last 10 years I've been a news illustrator, working at Metro stockholm within a wide spectrum of assignments ranging from information graphics to editorial illustration and graphic design. In 2007 I had the opportunity to illustrate the book 'Fågelungen' (the nestling), and from that point on I realised that this is what I want to do! At the moment I'm working with illustrations and graphic design for a Jordanian children's book that will be published during spring 2011. I believe that I as an illustrator have an important task of stimulating and encouraging more children to read, and to help those who can't read. I believe my illustrations can make a difference! I believe my illustrations can help children to be able to read!

I believe that there's more to life than what we can see and touch. I believe that all we can imagine - the suggestive and the magic - exist. Through my illustrations I want you to see the world in a new way. I want you to know that there is more to discover!
My illustrations evolve from close contact with my client. I look for the unique in every assignment. I strive for that which makes the reader to understand more, think in a wider perspective, think in a new way. The illustration should add a dimension not there from the start. An image that stimulates to act or to stop and think.
