Artist Statement Matteo Campulla (Iglesias 1982) After years of submerged experimental productions between anonymous and co-individua! projects, He decides to use his rea! name until May 2009, when he form and become part of "Movimento Oscurantista" - a collective of painters against art system . In 2012 he decided to bring out his video research too with some videos signed "SCARS [Video Project ]"
In 2013 was founded the audiovisual project "Boga Bisuras" with Marco Fadda. Crucial in his professional and artistic growth has been the experience gained at TCS - Telecostasmeralda (a regional television channel), in which he has got to deal for the first time with the television production and train as a cameraman and editor Subsequently, as a freelancer , he has collaborated with Repubblica.it , produced music videos , made severa! reports of culturaa!nd artistic events , concerts, theater performances etc.
In May of 2013 he won the Babel prize in the video section.
