Artist Statement Welcome to KRGilman's Gallery! Kathleen was born and raised in Texas. Her hobbies as a younger person were roller skating, volleyball, track and field, drawing, animals, and the usual adolescent and young adult activities. At age 29 she joined the US Army. After serving three years, Kathleen began school full time and earned a BA in Art and Photography in 1996. She relocated to Connecticut in 1998, began attending Mitchell College in 2005, and has since been active in the art scene as well as with campus activities. She will graduate with a BS in Liberal and Professional Studies with a concentration in Behavioral Sciences in Spring 2008. Her future goals include continuing her education and receiving a Masters Degree in Art Therapy, and to one day open an Art Therapy Studio.
