Artist Statement


The Genesis:

Marlo began developing his passion for art when a trip to
the local hobby shop ended with the purchase of his first sketch book.
The pages are now filled with surreal shapes and scenes.



The Next Step:

When the pages of his first sketch book no longer
contained space for his creations, a second, and much larger,
book was acquired. At this time, Marlo's style was evolving.
Lines became smoother and details transformed
bland objects into life-like imagery.



Present Day:

Today, many critics marvel at the intricacy of Marlo's work.
The execution displayed in his artwork is an art form in itself.
Combine that with the images created and the emotions
evoked and you have a masterpiece.
