Artist Statement Photography is my favorite form of art, by far. There's nothing that captures life so well. And oh what a treasure it is for us to look back to in the future.

I prefer to shoot life as is, and stay away from "doctoring" photographs with special effects and enhancements.

I look through the lens, see something beautiful or interesting and click. I prefer macro right now. Life up close is very interesting. We tend to oversee beauty in the most simple. I like shadows. I appreciate contrast. I also like being reminded that we too are a small part of life.
