Description I wanted this to show fear and hope, the small boy's emotions lost in the cave, drenched by the underground waterfall water fighting through to the light.

Artist Statement I'm a self taught painter in my 50's living in the UK having painted, drawn and visited art exhibitions all my life. I sold my first painting 'Cows' in the local pub, which I painted from life, when I was 21 in 1977.

It's only now that I've got enough confidence to try and sell some of my work to a wider audience.

I love oils because of the sensuousness of the paint - bright colors - paintings should make you feel. My favorite artists are Van Gough and Gaugin, and for portraits Manet.

My aim is to build a portfolio of original oil paintings of varying styles that reach and and touch people in some way. That are affordable and that people will want to hang in their homes!

For a day job I'm a film and TV actor.
