Artist Statement Moyses Jerussalmy was born in Brazil and in 1979 started his art studies.
At first it was just a hobby, but then he started to have art classes with Mr. Salvador Rodrigues, who was an hors concour painter.
With him, he learned oil techniques on canvas and he started to create many art pieces, as you can see in the gallery below.
After 3 years of classes he continued to paint in a self-educative way. His style is mainly impressionist.
Lately he became closer to judaism and joined the Chabad Movement.
From this point on he started to make paintings with jewish themes and also several Lubavitcher Rebbe Portrait.
