Artist Statement A graduate of Edward Kennedy "Duke" Ellington School of the Arts and the George Washington University's School of Engineering and Applied Science Roland creates works of art and science.

Roland was worked as an electrical technologist, web site designer, graphic and digital artist since 1984. creating websites for the discovery Channel Online, The National Foreign Service Institute under the Department of State, and the American Geophysical Institute.

With an eye for form and structure and a sense of wonder, Roland puts his love of nature and mathematics into each digital photograph he creates.
