Artist Statement I kind of fell into photography when I was 19 and haven't looked back since. I've told this story before, but I always wanted music to be "my thing". I wanted to be an amazing musician and be able to share my talent and my love affair with music in general. The love was definitely there, but the talent was lacking. I picked up a camera in a new way when I was 19 and I fell in love again, it seems this time talent was on my side.

I love the idea of being to capture life. All of these particles of light flow into my camera and somehow they are freeze-framed in such an amazing way. I love capturing life, not necessarily how it is right now, but how it was... for 1/100th of a second. You may get overwhelmed by sunsets and flowers, but those sunsets and those flowers will never ever look that way again; I find that pretty intriguing.

I've made photography my life and there's rarely a minute passes that I'm not thinking of it somehow. Wherever I go I look for the light... how I could best capture it and how I could make somebody see it like they never have before. Hopefully I can do that for you. If not, I'll keep trying, so come back soon.
