Description The Mahala Rai Series simply named after my favorite Pandora station of music that I listen to while I make my art. The band Mahala Rai Banda a gypsy band based in Bucharest (Romania). The soundtracks of this Balkan style music with strong Ottoman overtures is the mainstay at the Bulgarian Disco in NYC called Menahata. Art work is mixed media with several glazed layers on gessoed wood board, original is 11'x14'.
