Description I was standing on a floating dock at the entrance to the spring, shooting down thru 5 feet of crystal clear water to photograph these amazing animals. You can see the scars of propeller blade scrapes, and nicks in the manatees thick rough skin, these gentle creatures graze the bottom of the banks for edible vegatation, unaware of the dangers above them, imposed on their existence by man. Please be aware of our large friends in their travels, and help keep them safe.
