Artist Statement I'm Aisha, also known as Miseriacordia. I'm a neurotic 19-year-old Eurasian hybrid who considers Indonesia home.

My speciality is portrait photography, but I am also interested in illustration and digital art and love fashion design as well.
I am aspiring to be a professional photographer and artist, as well as an alternative/independent fashion designer.

I am fascinated by contradictions, especially beauty and horror, hence the reason many of my works contain elements of beauty, fashion, and glamour alongside horror, macabre, dark and twisted elements.

I am inspired and influenced by many things. My photographic influences come from photographers such as Jenni Tapanila, Alejandra Kalnisky, Elisa Lazo de Valdez and Natalie Shau*. My illustrations began with an heavily evident influence from Tim Burton's art and character design, and as I am experimenting with various illustrative styles, I have become inspired by artists such as Mark Ryden and Lori Early**.
My fashion inspiration comes from way back in the Rococo, Edwardian and Victorian eras, modernised by contemporary Gothic and Lolita fashions.
