Artist Statement Growing up in the South West of the UK I began my love of photography at an early age keen to capture the landscape and people around me.
Over the years I developed my techincal skill with 35mm and medium format film and started to experiment with processing, composition and direction. This has given me the ability to understand, conceptualise and create striking images to a professional standard.
I went onto study at a leading film and photography school from which I graduated in 2004. After this I worked in and around the London area on corporate and commercial film work.
In 2005 I produced a series of photos used for national ad campaigns and my work was seen in print and online throughout that year. This success brought me to the South Coast where I could expand my experience and continue my passion for image making.
In the last couple of years I have made an impact in glamour and fashion photography, launching timnokesphotography.com as a means of showcasing this work.
