Artist Statement I grew up in Juneau, Alaska which has given me a natural appreciation of our environment and the world we live and recreate in. I have a scientific mind with a photographic eye and a love of experiencing life. Photography, for me, is a way to capture the beauty and wonder that a moment of an experience of a time and place can reveal. From the simplest detail to the complex occurrence, I try to capture or create an image that creates or stimulates a feeling from within.
