Artist Statement I am 33 years old, a husband and father of 2 bright kids. I am an architect by profession and an artist by heart. Although I've only started drawing seriously in the past 2 years, I discovered my talent/ style much earlier (when i was in highschool ca. 1990). I currently reside in Marikina City, Philippines where my wife and I also operate a Travel Agency called NAVOTAS EXPRESS TRAVEL (NETS). It started as a hobby since we both love to travel.

I arrived at my style--ABSTRACT IN INK or TEKKAN- because I always find difficulty in drawing things as it appears in reality. So to be able to illustrate it, I have to rely on my own interpretation of it (how I felt; my understanding of the subject or what its essence is to me).
