Description This artwork is for healing, something many of us need from time to time. The words are from the song by Debbie Friedman, a wonderful singer. This print can be given to anyone, including yourself, who is in need of healing. The words include some Hebrew, often referring to our forefathers and foremothers, in the prayer/blessing: Mi Sheberah, avoteinu, mekor habrakha l'imoteinu. May the Source of Strength Who blessed the ones before us, Help us find the courage to make our lives a blessing, and let us say 'Amen'. Mi sheberakh imoteinu, mekor habrakh l'avoteinu, Bless you who are in need of healing with Refuah Shleima, the renewal of your body, the renewal of your spirit, and let us say 'Amen'.
Irene Konig, Austin Member Since December 2008 Artist Statement I have been an artist, in one medium or another, for most of my life, and I love to create images that will speak to people. Using calligraphy, my art has impact both in words and design. Much of my art came about because of deep emotions that I felt, and this carries through it to the viewer. These artworks make great gifts for others who are important to you, as well as deserving a place in your own home.
