Artist Statement Welcome to the gallery--
Most artists experience a continual metamorphosis of their work; if you dig deep enough, you will find my name on ceramic sculpture, etchings, lithographs, serigraphs, oils, acrylics, murals, public art, watercolors, photographic illustrations, batik, silk painting, book illustrations, writings, and more recently giclee. (Puff, puff, I am wearing you out.)
Rochester Institute of Technology has driven me forward, having given the charge to keep graphics curriculum on the cutting edge since 1986. In the infancy of computer graphics, I developed one of the first digital art courses on campus. We used Aldus Superpaint (TM) at the cusp of Apple Corporation offering color for PC screens.
Our department has served as an incubator for many courses and programs, so development is cherished and encouraged there. Content I have taught includes advanced photographic imaging, book layout, vector illustration, Web design, watercolor, illustration, time management and study skills (do not ask if I excel in that -- I am often stubborn), graduate courses and online delivery.
If you are looking for something similar to what you see here, especially changes in coloration, let me know and I will consider uploading a revised version. Use "imagekind" in the message title.
