Description Is it any wonder why Lake Placid is named as such? Here in the township of Lake Placid is this wonderful body of water called Mirror Lake. There's so much serenity and beauty to be enjoyed at this spot. Actually enough to fill one's heart for an eternity. For anyone unfamiliar this area is found in the adirondacks region of New York State. As you'll find, New Yorkled's adventure isn't confined to the borders of NYC but rather it reaches out to many other wonderful locales.
