Artist Statement Art for me comes in many different forms; my main love has been digital photography as well as computer art and manipulations of photos I have taken. I am part Cherokee and Creek Indian as well as I am an intersex person. Known to my people as a Two-Spirit person. My art for me is a blend of both worlds I have been honored to live in, that of the female world for 38 years and now as a male of 48.

Over the years my art has shown the world from standing on two feet to how I view it from a wheelchair. As someone that has MS, the view of the world is much different from the level of a wheelchair.

My view on art is this… “I truly believe if art does not speak to you, you should not spend one penny on it no matter who the artist is." If my work does not speak to you, does not bring you to a place you long to be, does not move you then you should not spend a penny on it. My work does not speak to everyone, as it should be.

I live in the great state of Washington with some of the most breath taking views you can find. I am never more then inches away from my camera at any time, where I go it goes as well. My aim to bring the wonders of Mother Nature to all, her colors, her joys, her mountains, and all her creatures.

I was born on Long Island NY and moved to Washington at or around the age of 10. Here in Washington I found Mother Nature and all she had to offer if I just stop to listen and watch. I have found no greater place to live. The age of digital camera and computer art has made my art much more enjoyable and easier to share with the world.
