Artist Statement I spend my time between homes in Northern Ireland and France and love to paint the patterns in the countryside, ploughed fields for cabbages! near my Irish home and of course the vines in France. Although I now work mainly from source material gleaned from rambling in the countryside, I have a portfolio full of nudes, abstracts and floral studies that have developed over the years - variety is the spice of life! My love of drawing the female form no doubt comes from my training in fashion design and I like to produce fluid, sensuous drawings just like the evening wear I used to design. I loved the spontaneity of the quck studies in life class and I like to bring this fresh approach to my work on other themes.
