Description This is a nearly perfect example of the popular Morgan Dollar series in its third year of production. With a mintage of 8.9 million it is very common but two factors make this coin quite collectible. First it has very deep reflective surfaces not found on the vast majority of Morgans. Even more rare is the lack of nicks and blemishes on the coin and especially on Miss liberty's cheek where any blemish would be immediately noticeable. As for its level of perfection, perfect in coins being '70', this coin is certainly a 65 and has an excellent chance of being awarded a 66. But for a minor blemish on the reverse side, this being a very light nick near the eagle's wing, a kind and generous grader might even call it a 67. But no matter how it grades it is a beautiful coin.
