Artist Statement My name is Chris Herold. I have been an artist probably since I was old enough to pick up a crayon. I studied the elements and principles of art at DSU (Dickinson State University). That is where I really began to enjoy painting. Landscapes have always been my favorite, but as I progress in my art career, I would much rather paint abstract art. I just love the way that I can put a few lines, shapes and the right mix of color on a canvas, to create something that I would've never dreamed possible. I love to create art that makes people happy. To have a piece of mine hanging up on a wall to aid in someones enjoyment of life, is the coolest thing in the world. I hope that by having my art online, more people all over the world can have a little piece of my happiness in their life to make them happy.
