Artist Statement New Zealand Artist Helen Blair is inspired by nature, her vivid palette, her distinctive styles bring her paintings to life , wtih a selection of realism and impressionism.

Helen Blair was born in Cambridge New Zealand. She has had and interest in art since a young girl, growing up in the country on a Dairy farm. Helen has painted for 18 years and completed a 4 year course with the Learning Connextion , Wellington, majoring a Diploma with Honors in Creativity Art and Design. She recently started teaching Art classes to children and adults in a variety of media. She has had several exhibitions , won a Telecom Art award , and has many of her works are with International and National collectors.
Along with her husband and 5 children Helen now lives on a beautiful East coast beach of Maraetai, Auckland.
Some of her work is directly inspired by this enviroment, while other pieces depict her travels and things she loves
