Artist Statement Born and raised in Germany, I studied Fine Art/Photography at Arizona State University. In addition to making art I spend a large part of my working days as a Tour Guide for Europeans who traveled through the United States. This gives me many opportunities to take great pictures, which I then paint during my off season.
I discovered Corel Painter about 5 years ago, and find that it gives me one more reason to sit by the computer all day.
Now I would like to travel to Central and South America to take pictures, and to learn another way of living. The more I travel, the more I realize that there are many ways to be happy.
