Artist Statement I draw ever since I can remember. Art, for me, has always been a window into another reality. A world where anything is possible, where you can break the rules and create something that is not; where the trees are blue, and the clouds are green.
This constant immersion into a miraculous depth of fantastic emotions, feelings and experiences always looking to find their reflection through the body lines and the firework of colors in terse lines of pencil sketch.
Drawn, written, printed; on pieces of paper, cardboard or even a simple napkin – my drawings started to live their own special life, bringing to the world pieces of my soul, parts of my heart, my pain, my experience …
Painting, for me, is a way to express myself, to open up to the world, and if one sees on canvas just a naked woman, the other sees a naked soul.
Whatever I paint, it is always a declaration of love to the world and a request for love in return.
