Artist Statement Ronda is an artist and writer from Plano, TX. She graduated in 1995 from Southern Illinois University where she studied Fine Arts, Literature and Psychology.

Through her art she seeks to communicate the virtues of Life in Christ as a doorway from darkness to light. The core of her inspiration comes from the Ancient Orthodox Church and its rich historic visual tradition.

Each original collage is assembled from an assortment of discarded high-fashion city papers and magazines. She draws from this trash to recreate images of lasting iconic truth.

In addition to creating and marketing her art, Ronda enjoys being a wife and mother and traveling with her husband and spending time with her family in Illinois and North Carolina.

Her proprietorship, Magdalene Fine Arts, is so named in honor of Saint Mary Magdalene, an icon of faith, hope and love. Tradition tells us that through her efforts and generosity, Mary Magdalene helped support the church and apostles of ancient Christendom. Magdalene Fine Arts, in an effort to emulate the good works of Mary Magdalene, is dedicated to helping those less fortunate. Thank you for your support!
