Artist Statement I am a mixed media artist, writer, and poet who works with sacred geometries and colors to chronicle and archive the energetic experiences of myself and the collective consciousness.
I have been working with fractal images since the late 1990s, and I continue to be amazed by their intricacy and transitory nature. It is my honor and privilege to "midwife" them into being... the real magic happens in a space that no one can consciously approach... what remains for me -- for us all, really -- is to remain open and attendant and to do the best we can with the tools we've been given.
I have published numerous books of poetry and prose, and I have been working in mixed media for over 20 years. I am an avid student of mythology and symbolism, and I find the archetypes and abstractions of alchemy to be highly useful in creating my art, as well as the life I live. I have been employed in the legal field, high-tech, and financial services, and I bring to my art the intention of supporting and strengthening excellence in all activities, through the deliberate use of color, shape, geometries, and proportion.
