Artist Statement I was born in Virginia. In my early twenties I moved to New Orleans. I tended bar, listened to stories and taught myself how to paint. A few years ago I relocated to Miami. Since moving here, I've immersed myself in figurative painting. Although painting the nude figure has been my main focus for some time now, I still enjoy painting a landscape or still life.
