Artist Statement Creating art has been a method of expression since the dawn of time, and that is the main component of why I am so interested in a career in the field of visual arts.
Using acrylics I have successfully created bright and vibrant images that depict the emotions that I feel everyday. Most of the work that I present is developed to illustrate how beautiful the world can be. If I had to pick two words in order to describe the way I try to live my life, they would have to be “Love Life”. These two words go with me everywhere and can be seen in every one of my works.

To love life means to take in everything for what it is and for what its worth. To appreciate the littlest things and even the most significant things in life. I have used my art work to express that I value everything I see and really take into account the things that surround me.

With a fondness for sculpture as well as painting, I decided to try and put these two techniques together. I have successfully done so by using Modeling Paste and Acrylics on Canvas. By using Modeling Paste, I have developed textures that can portray real images as well as create a sense of depth, and adding Acrylics I have attained some remarkable images that render movement, harmony and rhythm.

With a lot of hard work I have been able to express the way that I live my life as well as express my deepest emotions through mediums such as; Acrylics, Modeling Paste, Clay, Colored Pencils, Oil Pastels and much more.
